It provides excellent pulse control andis equipped with an acoustically treated inlet foruse on critical PLV applications. Pulse controland noise attenuation provided by the RD Seriesis the ultimate and is necessary for only the mostdemanding installations. Sizes 4" and larger areequipped with flanged connections drilled to125/150 lb ANSI specifications. Smaller sizes arestandard with male threaded pipe nipples. Unitssized 4" and 5" are available in either flanged ormale pipe threads. Exterior surfaces receive a shopcoat of rust inhibitive primer and may be finishpainted in the field if desired. The RD Series is thebasic end-in, end-out configuration. A low sideinlet is designated the RDY Series; high side inlet,RDH Series; and low opposed connections, RDSSeries. The four types are fundamentally alike andperformance is identical.
