With the Gefran Gilogik series, you can create advanced automation<br />

solutions using Siemens STEP®7 p<strong>ro</strong>gramming<br />

language.<br />

The hardware design emphasizes power and compactness,<br />

creating small, space-saving modules that offer quick and easy<br />

wiring with extractable, spring-type terminal boards.<br />

Nume<strong>ro</strong>us CPUs are available for applications of various complexities,<br />

including versions with integrated communication<br />

module for TCP/IP Ethernet networks and for P<strong>ro</strong>fibus DP<br />

networks, with extremely rapid data exchange by means of Dual<br />

Port Ram.<br />

The various Input/Output modules, digital and analog, are also<br />

available in "fast" versions, so the user may select the technical<br />

characteristics most suitable for the demands of systems to be<br />

cont<strong>ro</strong>lled.<br />

Integration among the Gilogik modules, with other cont<strong>ro</strong>llers,<br />

and with supervision systems is assured by TCP/IP Ethernet<br />

modules and FIELDBUS modules for P<strong>ro</strong>fibus-DP, CANopen,<br />

and DeviceNet network connections.<br />

The line is completed with specific axis cont<strong>ro</strong>l modules, communication<br />

with transducers in SSI p<strong>ro</strong>tocol, and RS 485 serial<br />

communication with various p<strong>ro</strong>tocols (including Modbus).<br />

The modules are connected directly on DIN guides without rack,<br />

by means of a simple accessory with back plane bus, creating<br />

an easy, modular, expandable assembly solution.<br />
