Cloud solutions offer a lower cost of adoptionand operation, are more flexible and dynamic, and easily scalable in many environments and conditions includingpost-disaster settings. When coupled with the potential for low-cost, always-connected mobile devices, even inlow-bandwidth areas, it is easy to believe that a dramatic shift can happen in the relatively near-term.
