These groups can include town orparish councils, voluntary organisations, registered charities and/orconstituted sports or cultural clubs within the community.Q. Our activity will involve children, young people and vulnerable adults.Do we need a Safeguarding Policy?A. A Child/Vulnerable Adult Safeguarding Policy is essential. If you needadvice and support in arranging this, contact the LSCB Safeguarding ChildrenProgramme Co-ordinator on 01603 228966. For further information on the<strong>Norfolk</strong> SAFE (Safer Activities for Everyone) Project visitwww.lscb.norfolk.gov.ukIf you do not have your policy in place before applying to the QDJ Celebration<strong>Fund</strong>, your application will still be considered if you can demonstrate thatarrangements are underway. We can provide a sample Safeguarding Policyfor your group or organisation to adopt, should this be necessary, but it willrequire some form of personalisation to your group before adoption.Q. Will I receive feedback if I am unsuccessful?A. We will endeavour to provide feedback on your application should you beunsuccessful upon request.Q. What evaluation will we be required to undertake?A. In return for your grant, we will ask you to provide minimal evaluation, whichis likely to be a brief report on how the event went, including numbersattending or taking part in your event and volunteers involved. We will also belooking for evidence that we can use for publicity purposes, such asphotographs, film clips and testimonials from people on the day/s.Q.
