It is also ideal for irrigating athletic fields,cemeteries, or other large campuses where an undergroundsystem is impractical.Built to last, with precision German engineering and high qualitymaterials, this portable powerhouse can irrigate an entirefootball field in just two passes. Tracker T-400 requires minimallabour to operate. Powered by water, it pulls itself along a nyloncable and automatically shuts down when it reaches the end ofit. Simply connect Tracker to a 1” (25mm) reinforced heavyduty hose (which can be connected to a water supply at the endor sides of the field). Unroll the cable and anchor it to a stake atthe opposite end of your field. Well-fertilised, healthy grass requiresapproximately 0.35” (9mm) of water daily during the hottest timeof the year, and about half of that during the cooler seasons.Two sprinkler nozzles, #6 (8.8 GPM) and #7 (15 GPM) aresupplied with the Tracker to accommodate varying wateringrequirements.The Tracker can drag up to 360ft (110m) of hose allowing amaximum irrigated length of 400ft (122m). The width of a travellane is typically 70 to 85 feet (21 to 25m).As a guideline, the Tracker will water about 2 / 3 acre (2,760m 2 )in 8 hours.Water Source: The Tracker requires at least 9 GPM (34l/min)at 50 psi (3.3 bars), which is typically available from 1” (25mm)or larger pipeline.
