My laboratory <strong>of</strong>fers research training in areas related to central neural control <strong>of</strong>autonomic function and also the neurobiology <strong>of</strong> nicotine as it relates to nicotine self-administration in rats. Aschair <strong>of</strong> the Department <strong>of</strong> <strong>Neuroscience</strong> and as Co-Director <strong>of</strong> the Center for <strong>Neuroscience</strong> at the University <strong>of</strong>Pittsburgh, I am involved in the oversight <strong>of</strong> doctoral training in neuroscience .
