Frederick LeRoy & Monica Mary (Coady) PotterFred Jr. was born 4 May 1919 in Niagara Falls, Ontario. He was in WW11 and became aCorporal in the army. He married Monica Coady in Yorkshire, England on 15 March 1942 at St.Malachy's R.C. Church, Halifax, Yorkshire, England.Monica was a War Bride and came to Hamilton, Ontario a month or two before her 2 nd child,Frances, was born which was 26 Dec 1944. At first she said they wouldn’t let her come over asshe was too far along in her pregnancy, but she said she wasn’t having another child in England.Monica was met by Fred Jr. parents, Fred Sr. & Carrie Potter at the train station in Hamilton,Ontario.Fred Jr. was a baker by trade and made some of the most wonderful apple pies, they melted inyour mouth.-217-
