Rayna Rice Rocks Bakken Barrel DazeOver $14,600 was paid out at the 2nd Annual KC Sandcastle,LLC Bakken Barrel Daze. After a previous night’s rain and daysof prior rain, the barrel race came off wonderfully. A beautiful dayencompassed the Richland County Fairgrounds.Much work on the ground made for fast runs and a great payoutfor the 175+ entrants. Past NFR qualifier, Rayna Rice shinedbrightly with her two young horses. Winning over $1,360 for theafternoon, Rice and A Streakin Easy by A Streak Of Fling, won theOpen 5D for $585.The Youth sidepot sponsored by Barkan Backhoe & Trenchingwas won by Paige Moore for $358 aboard HC Docs Berts Money.The Futurity sidepot sponsored by Lee’s Tire was won by Rice for$129 aboard RB Firewater Fortoe.
