The design utilizesmultiple inserts (sold separately) in orderto accommodate a variety of bulb snaptogetherprofiles. Each insert has a uniqueshape that allows for a tight fit and providesincreased holding strength over otherattachment options.The S-5-K Grip also eliminates the largemoment arm other clamps use for theseprofiles. Instead, it features a low mountingsurface area, with the mounting bolt directlyover the center of the seam. This dramaticallyincreases the strength of the clamp, making itperfect for use with heavy-duty applications.The head of the flanged bolts control theamount of compression, which reduces thepossibility of over-compressing the seam,and makes installation a snap!Just place the clamp on the seam, positionthe insert piece, and tighten the flangedbolts at the base.
