Course Details<strong>The</strong> course will explore the theories <strong>and</strong> skills that are required <strong>to</strong> select <strong>and</strong> manage an <strong>Investment</strong> portfolio.<strong>The</strong> course will be presented by a number of highly experienced leaders from Sydney’s finance sec<strong>to</strong>r. Byexploring fundamental concepts that explore investment strategies <strong>and</strong> investment theory course participantswill learn how <strong>to</strong> build an <strong>Investment</strong> portfolio. <strong>The</strong> course will be a combination of; lectures, discussion <strong>and</strong>h<strong>and</strong>s on analysis of financial concepts. On completion of the course it is hoped that the participants will join<strong>The</strong> <strong>Scots</strong> <strong>Investment</strong> Club, <strong>and</strong> invest real money in the markets.<strong>The</strong> course runs for seven weeks from 6:00pm <strong>to</strong> 7:30pm in Room 215.Each session comprises a combination of formal presentations, case studies, analysis of course readings <strong>and</strong>group discussions. <strong>An</strong> IBE certificate is awarded <strong>to</strong> all those who complete the course.If you are interested in or would like <strong>to</strong> learn about the following issues then this might be just the course foryou!1.
