Assembly instructionFLine® compact component chassish1. Attach the cable guide bar as shown in the diagram.2. Mount the component chassis in the 19“ rack or cabinet.3. Pull the gland (M20 or M25) over the cable.An M25 gland must be used for cables with a diameter exceeding 14.3 mm(for example 12x12).lateral viewhh4. Remove 2 m of sheath from the cable. Remove the glass yarns andthe swelling tape up to the sheath.5. On both outer sides of the component chassis, loosen the markedscrews and remove the cable management bar from the panel for easierassembly.6. Insert the cable into the cable management bar, tighten the glandand cut off the dummy elements if necessary, allow the GRP element toprotrude by about 8 - 10 cm and cut it off.7. Push 90 cm of the sleeve over the filled loose tube up to approx. 3 cmbefore the cable sheath.

Fix the sleeves together with the GRP element using 2 cable ties.This prevents the filled loose tube from bending at the transition fromthe cable to the sleeve.9. Pull the sleeves with the filled loose tubes onto the front of the componentchassis. Remove the sheath from the filled loose tubes so thatthey protrude 2.5 cm beyond the end of the sleeve.Clean the fibers with alcohol as usual.10. Fix the sleeve with the filled loose tube to the splice cassette of thecompact module using cable ties. Deposit the fibers in the splice cassetteand splice as usual. Deposit the splice protections in the splice holderand snap on the cassette cover.11. Push in the compact module and insert the filled loose tubes.12.
