SEPTEMBER 1, 2010 (5:30 PM)
The Agenda/Conference Meeting of the Pennsauken Township
Committee was held on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 in the
Caucus Room at the Pennsauken Township Municipal Building,
5605 N. Crescent Boulevard, Pennsauken, NJ 08110.
The Agenda/Conference Meeting came to order at 5:30 PM.
On Roll call the following members of the Township
Committee were present:
Committeeman John Figueroa
Deputy Mayor Jack Killion
Committeeman John Kneib
Committeeman Bill Orth
Mayor Rick Taylor
Present also: Administrator Ed Grochowski, Gene Padalino,
Township Clerk and Michael Joyce, Municipal Attorney
There was the Salute to the Flag and a Moment of Silence.
Mayor Taylor announced that the Agenda/Conference Meeting
was being held in compliance with the “Senator Byron M.
Baer Open Public Meetings Act”.

AUGUST 31ST 2010 AT 2:00 PM.
CONFERENCE/ITEMS OF DISCUSSION:
1. Discussion of Businesses in Redevelopment Areas (Terry
Carr/ Larry Cardwell)
Retrostar Music-would like to lease at 4654 S. Crescent
Blvd. The will sell music equipment. This May Move Forward
Linda’s Grocery-Westfield Avenue. Owner wishes to sell to
current manager. Operation will stay the same. Economic
Development checked with Police and there have been no
issues since beginning of year. This May Move Forward.
Studio 360 Salon and Spa- to be located at 4654 S. Crescent
Blvd. This May Move Forward.
Consolidated Electric Distributors- would like to move to
7300 N. Crescent Blvd unit 1. They are presently located on
Central Highway. This May Move Forward.
Gene’s Cleaners-(Westfield Avenue)there is a change of
ownership – This May Move Forward.
There was discussion of the Hargrove property on Route 130.
Mr. Carr of Economic Development recommends that the sale
of sheds be allowed. It will be Mr. Hargrove’s nephew who
is to run the operation there. He would also like to leave
the trailer there. The decision was made to allow it and
revisit it again in a year. The trailer is technically a
sign and he needs to make an application to the Planning
Board. This should be taken to the Planning Board.
