SEPTEMBER 1, 2010 (5:30 PM)<br />

The Agenda/Conference Meeting of the Pennsauken Township<br />

Committee was held on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 in the<br />

Caucus Room at the Pennsauken Township Municipal Building,<br />

5605 N. Crescent Boulevard, Pennsauken, NJ 08110.<br />

The Agenda/Conference Meeting came to order at 5:30 PM.<br />

On Roll call the following members of the Township<br />

Committee were present:<br />

Committeeman John Figueroa<br />

Deputy Mayor Jack Killion<br />

Committeeman John Kneib<br />

Committeeman Bill Orth<br />

Mayor Rick Taylor<br />

Present also: Administrator Ed Grochowski, Gene Padalino,<br />

Township Clerk and Michael Joyce, Municipal Attorney<br />

There was the Salute to the Flag and a Moment of Silence.<br />

Mayor Taylor announced that the Agenda/Conference Meeting<br />

was being held in compliance with the “Senator Byron M.<br />

Baer Open Public Meetings Act”.<br />

1. Discussion of Businesses in Redevelopment Areas (Terry<br />

Carr/ Larry Cardwell)<br />

Retrostar Music-would like to lease at 4654 S. Crescent<br />

Blvd. The will sell music equipment. This May Move Forward<br />

Linda’s Grocery-Westfield Avenue. Owner wishes to sell to<br />

current manager. Operation will stay the same. Economic<br />

Development checked with Police and there have been no<br />

issues since beginning of year. This May Move Forward.<br />

Studio 360 Salon and Spa- to be located at 4654 S. Crescent<br />

Blvd. This May Move Forward.<br />

Consolidated Electric Distributors- would like to move to<br />

7300 N. Crescent Blvd unit 1. They are presently located on<br />

Central Highway. This May Move Forward.<br />

Gene’s Cleaners-(Westfield Avenue)there is a change of<br />

ownership – This May Move Forward.<br />

There was discussion of the Hargrove property on Route 130.<br />

Mr. Carr of Economic Development recommends that the sale<br />

of sheds be allowed. It will be Mr. Hargrove’s nephew who<br />

is to run the operation there. He would also like to leave<br />

the trailer there. The decision was made to allow it and<br />

revisit it again in a year. The trailer is technically a<br />

sign and he needs to make an application to the Planning<br />

Board. This should be taken to the Planning Board.
