Lighter than ever - HandyMan DV
ABC Products introduces the latest version of the HandyMan DV. The trend towards lighter cameras has
brought unequalled relief for the balance-system operator, following this trend ABC Products has further
developed the HandyMan DV which is lighter than ever and confirms once again the exceptionally smooth
handling characteristics of the HandyMan systems.

Trim-post
The latest camera plate system at the top of the trim-post can be moved in two directions with a very precise
and user-friendly trimming mechanism. The gimbal construction is equipped with ball-bearings allowing
smooth rotation in all axis.
The vertical trim post allows mounting of counterweights to balance different types of cameras. The batteries
remain on the camera, it is therefore possible to change from one camera type to another without
complications. By moving the counterweight up or down on the post you will easily achieve perfect balancing
of the system. A safety pin stops any chance of the weight slipping off the trim post.
Spring arm
Two independently working spring arms absorb all shocks coming from the operator´s movements. Thanks to
its light weight and the special spring system, all camera movements can be made quickly and without
useless loss of energy. The spring arm tension can be varied thanks to a user-friendly tightening system
allowing optimal absorption of shake.
Harness
The harness system consists of three main parts:
The special waist belt is made out of two shaped long lasting synthetic material components. It sits
comfortably on your hips and relieves your spine from awkward straining.
The shoulder vest is rigid and comfortably shaped to go over your shoulders helping relieve the spine and
back muscles from strain. This part can be varied in size according to the operator’s requirements.
The chest vest stabilises the complete system avoiding it from slipping side-ways on your body. It also helps
to distribute the weight of the system to your shoulders.
