Automatic ventilation triggeringsWind & rain detector type WTS-892, WS-890A3 2.2.1 Page 2Wind & rain detectorThe anemometer measures wind speed and when it exceeds a pre-set condition it sends a signal to thecontrol panel.Similarly the rain detector senses rain falling on the collection plate and also sends a signal to the controlpanel. When acceptable conditions return the sensor will cancel the close signal automatically. The wholeevaluation unit is integrated in the housing.For smoke and heat exhaust vent systems the “close” signal can be overridden by a fire condition. The windstrength limit value is adjustable from 1 to 12 Beaufort (factory aligned 4 bft).
