Camerawork:Static vs MovingCamerasStudent Tasksby Priscilla Angeliquelesson resources for you to share and adapt

CameraworkTASK 1Static vs Moving CamerasStep 1 - Create a short animation of a character walkingThey can be walking down a street or along a beach for example. The movie can be between 30 seconds and a minute in length. Youwill be filming the character from different angles using static and moving cameras and then combining the shots so you will need toconsider the set that you are using. For example, where a character is walking down a plain corridor it is easy to create the illusion ofthe character’s walk along the corridor being longer than it actually is by the way you edit the shots together.HINTIn the camerawork view you have two tools that you can use to control the cameraJump camera to this viewMove camera to this viewStep 2 - The Camera is Static (Main Camera)1. Go to the camerawork view.2. For your first version you will only jump the camera to the position you like. Your main focus is the angle and framing of theshot. Make as many selections as you need.Step 3 - The Camera is Moving (Camera 1)For the second version you will use the move camera to this view.Again use this as many times as you need.Step 4 - In the Cutting Room1.
