24 Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service (PICS) Annual Report 2010-2011
Annual ForumThe second PICS Annual Forum was heldon 24 February 2011 at Monash MedicalCentre in Clayton. The Forum provided staffacross services and disciplines with theopportunity to learn more about the workundertaken by the PICS, with a particularfocus on the Regional Outreach and SharedCare Program.Chaired by Mr Craig Bennett, the Forumwas addressed by the Minister for Health,the Hon David Davis MLC. Guest speakersincluded Professor Robert Thomas OAM,Chief Cancer Advisor to the DH, Dr MarkNorden, regional Paediatrician from AlburyWodonga Health and Ms Jenny Haig andMs Kylie Pretty from the CCCPAG.The Forum was attended by 112 stafffrom the RCH, SH, Peter Mac and theDH, with representation from otherservices including adult ICS, the CCCPAG,philanthropic organisations and communityagencies. Feedback from the Forumindicated that the content of the Forummet or exceeded audience expectations.The next PICS Annual Forum will beheld on 23 February 2012 at The RoyalChildren’s Hospital.
