FUEL INJECTOR SLEEVE MAINTENANCE (Contd)CAUTIONDo not roll lower area of injector sleeve which will causedistortion of total sleeve.Over-rolling of injector sleeve will cause deformation of sleeveinto O-ring groove.1. Position injector sleeve expander tool into injector sleeve (2) in cylinder head (1).2. Turn thrust nut (4) to adjust depth of expander tool so that roller (3) extends 0.5 in. (12.7 mm) intosleeve (2).3. Lock thrust nut (4) in place using an Allen wrench.4. Push expander tool down, turn, and adjust until 75 lb-in.
