Faxes can be sent to (704) 688-2826.Event Minimums and GuaranteesThere is a minimum <strong>of</strong> 75 guests required for all Young Dining Room receptionsand events. The guarantee is required two weeks prior to your catered event.This confirmation and guarantee will include exact times, location, attendance,menu choices and room set-up. If your event is cancelled, you are responsiblefor contacting the <strong>Catering</strong> Department and canceling the event. You will beliable for full payment <strong>of</strong> your food bill for any event that is not cancelled within72 hours prior to the event and confirmed in writing by the customer. If the<strong>University</strong> is closed due to inclement weather, all catering events will beautomatically cancelled.Additional Charges and FeesEvent Staffing: To insure that your event is a success, <strong>Catering</strong> Staff will needto be provided for all catered functions. We require 1 staff member per 8 guestsin a seated dinner environment and 1 staff member per 25 guests in a receptionenvironment. Rates for Event Staffing are $20 per hour and clients are requiredto pay for 1 hour prior and 2 hours after the event for setup and cleanup, inaddition to the hours <strong>of</strong> the event. Through our years <strong>of</strong> experience, we havedetermined the appropriate number <strong>of</strong> servers to ensure a successful event.8
