Everything went really well and I am sure everyone whowent was touched in a way especially meant for them.We were able to participate in the rosary and the procession at Fatimathe first three nights of our pilgrimage. The rosary is said bycandlelight with each decade said by a representative of the manynationalities of pilgrims present. One of our group members had theprivilege of saying half a decade of the rosary in Polish during our lastnight there. It really meant a lot to him that Blessed Mary had givenhim such an honor.The rosary was followed by a procession of Blessed Mary through the square by candlelight. With a crowd ofthousands gathered to honor and ask the intercession of Our Blessed Mother, so many felt the presence of her divineson, Jesus, and better understood the scripture “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am Iin the midst of them."In 1917, she appeared three times and revealed herself as “the Lady of the Rosary” to Lucia Santos and, her cousins,Francisco and Jacinta Marto. Her message then and now is to amend our lives, ask pardon for our sins, stopoffending God and to say the rosary each and every day. We are especially to make everything we do asacrifice.The fall preceding the appearance of Blessed Mary as the Lady of the Rosary, the angel of peace appeared to thechildren holding a golden chalice in one hand and a Host above it with the other. Drops of blood were falling from theHost into the chalice. The angel prostrated himself and said, “Most Holy Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – I adoreThee profoundly, I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all thetabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences whereby He is offended.
