These accolades attest to the ardor of ourbeliefs and the efficacy of our efforts.Corporations Collaborate, Form Green Business CouncilKey environmental and sustainability leaders from sevenCincinnati area corporations joined forces in 2011 toestablish the Greater Cincinnati Green Business Council(GCGBC). Initiated by Cintas, the council is the area’sfirst collaboration of local business leaders dedicatedto promoting sustainability while increasing the bottomline. The group includes representatives from Procter &Gamble, Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America, MelinkCorporation, Macy’s, Luxottica Group and Fifth Third Bank.“Each member of the GCGBC brings unique experiences and innovativesolutions that are already creating added value. The opportunity to shareideas that accelerate change within our organizations while collectivelyidentifying projects that could benefit the Greater Cincinnati region isa win-win,” said Pamela Coleman, Cintas’ Senior Director of SupplierDiversity & Sustainability.The GCGBC’s vision is to drive Greater Cincinnati employers to be thesustainability leaders in America. Today, it is actively involved in the processof developing ways to educate the business community on reaching that goal.8
