His dam is a beautiful uddered, black, blaze faced, Houston daughter out of the SplitDiamond 202F cow. A maternal sister, IPU Ms Exciter 120W was in the choice lot that sold inthe 2010 Simmsational sale for $14,500. We were fortunate to get to keep 120W and she has ablack, blaze face heifer in the heifer pen and is bred to Liner 56U herself to calve in January thisyear. With the popularity of the blaze face cattle, Red Chakota is going to play a huge role in ourbreeding program in 2012. This bull is powerful, soggy, thick, has no white except for his blazeface, has large testicles, a super hair coat good disposition and is mothered by a great cow. Andyes, he is heterozygous polled, and this is not going to stop us from using this bull heavily. I thinkit’s time we purebred breeders think quality first and homo polled secondly.
