Vital statistics includessuch items as bucket height andangle, individual bucket payload,cumulative truck loads, elapsed timeper loading cycle, and total tonsmoved, available fuel, vehicle speed,coolant temp etc. The easy-to-interpretgraphic format can be easily reconfiguredto meet personal preferences usingthe touch screen display. In addition,LINCS II assists the operator to avoidinappropriate commands. Forexample, should an attempt be made tostart a Generation 2 wheel loader withthe parking brake released, LINCS II willnot let this action happen, and will explainwhy on the interactive data screen. Thisenables the operator to take immediatecorrective action without confusion orwasted effort.The LINCS II systemspeaks your languageLINCS II monitors and controls all loaderfunctions, and alerts the operator viathe touch display whenever attentionis required. LINCS II language interface,with English being standard, is currentlyoffered as options in Chinese, French,Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish.In addition to the alert text messages onthe display, there are two supplementarywarning lights adjacent to the touchdisplay providing notifications as shown:RED indicates a condition requiringimmediate shutdown and correction,accompanied by an audible alert and an“alarm” message on the display.AMBER indicates a less seriouscondition requiring correction, but notrequiring an immediate shutdown.
