Transportation<strong>Marian</strong> <strong>Central</strong> is located in the geographic center of <strong>McHenry</strong> County and serves the seventeen<strong>Catholic</strong> Parishes in the county. Students are transported to and from the school in a variety ofways including the following:The school has an agreement with a school bus contractor to provide three bus routes for the purposeof transporting students to and from school. You can view these routes on the Transportationpage on our website at www.marian.com. The cost for riding one of these buses is $2.75 per ride.An annual pass is also available for $600 and entitles the pass holder to ride to and from the schoolthroughout the school year.Woodstock Community <strong>School</strong> District #200 provides bus transportation to and from <strong>Marian</strong> forthose students who live within the Woodstock school district boundaries. This service is provided atno charge. Information regarding routes, times, etc. may be obtained by calling the district’s transportationoffice at (815) 338-4777.RTA (PACE) bus service within <strong>McHenry</strong> County transports students to and from <strong>Marian</strong> on a dailybasis. The Route 807 morning service begins at <strong>McHenry</strong> City Hall and goes west through WonderLake to <strong>Marian</strong>. Route 808 provides a bus from Harvard to <strong>Marian</strong> and a bus from Crystal Lake to<strong>Marian</strong>. In all cases, PACE provides transportation both to <strong>Marian</strong> at the beginning of the school dayand from <strong>Marian</strong> back to the originating city at the end of the school day. PACE route informationcan be obtained from the school office or by calling (847) 364-7223.Car pooling is a common mode of transportation for <strong>Marian</strong> students.
