TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR FUNCTION BOOKINGS- 2013 / 2014Function prices are quoted at the time of inquiry. Changes may occur given seasonalchanges or extra inclusions.BookingsBookings can only be confirmed after the booking form is signed, credit card authorisationgiven and non-refundable deposit paid. The right to cancel your function if paymentconditions are not met is reserved. Receipt of your deposit confirms your acceptance of allthe terms and conditions herein.PaymentFifty percent of the confirmed function minimum spend is required one hundred and eightydays before the function with the balance payment required no later than seven days beforethe function. Any extra costs of the function including beverages, clean up and breakagesare payable upon invoice at the end of the function. A two percent credit card surchargeapplies.CancellationShould you need to cancel the function for whatever reason, written notice is required and ifyou cancel upon our receipt of your written notification: more than one hundred and eightydays from the function date all monies but for the deposit will be repaid; between onehundred and eighty days and seven days from the function date fifty percent of theconfirmed function minimum spend must be paid as a cancellation charge; and, withinseven days of the function date one hundred percent of the confirmed function minimumspend must be paid as a cancellation charge. It is advisable that you take out weddinginsurance to cover your costs of any cancellation as we also reserve the right to recover anyloss of profit.Circumstances beyond our controlWe shall not be responsible for any loss or damage or costs from the failure to provide anyfacility or service as a result of force majeure or any other cause beyond our control and thisincludes industrial disputes, orders, permits or regulations issued by any government authority,riot, flood, fire, epidemic, alterations or redecorations.Final NumberConfirmation of final numbers of guests attending and all final details are required seven daysprior to function. Should your number of guests fall below your confirmed minimum, finalaccount amounts will still be related to the minimum number given.Loss of propertyThe Baths will not accept any responsibility for damages or loss of your or your guest’sproperty left on the premises prior to, during or after the function, responsibility lies solely withthe client.Damages / TheftThe client accepts financial responsibility for any damage to the premises or damage or theftof its fittings and equipment and breakages or theft of crockery, cutlery and glasswarecaused by their guests or contractors in respect of a function.Intoxification / Fines / ActionsThe Baths reserves the right to refuse service to an intoxicated person and may request thatthey leave the premises. The client must ensure that any drunk, violent or quarrelsome guest/sleave the premises.
