nights, all other days are negotiable. a room hire for pull down and set up<br />
cost of $500 is charged as room hire for weddings.<br />
Please note that weddings booked in the month of January or on a Public<br />
Holiday weekend have an increase in the minimum spend.<br />

we offer wide-ranging menu options and packages; however, should you<br />
wish to make a personal contribution to the creation of your wedding<br />
menu our executive chef is available for consultation<br />

consumption” ie. you only pay for the beverages that you and your guests<br />

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR FUNCTION BOOKINGS- 2012/<strong>13</strong><br />
Function prices are quoted at the time of inquiry. Changes may occur given seasonal<br />
changes or extra inclusions.<br />
Bookings<br />
Bookings can only be confirmed after the booking form is signed, credit card authorisation<br />
given and non-refundable deposit paid. <strong>The</strong> right to cancel your function if payment<br />
conditions are not met is reserved. Receipt of your deposit confirms your acceptance of all<br />
the terms and conditions herein.<br />
Payment<br />
Fifty percent of the confirmed function minimum spend is required one hundred and eighty<br />
days before the function with the balance payment required no later than seven days before<br />
the function. Any extra costs of the function including beverages, clean up and breakages<br />
are payable upon invoice at the end of the function. A two percent credit card surcharge<br />
applies.<br />
Cancellation<br />
Should you need to cancel the function for whatever reason, written notice is required and if<br />
you cancel upon our receipt of your written notification: more than one hundred and eighty<br />
days from the function date all monies but for the deposit will be repaid; between one<br />
hundred and eighty days and seven days from the function date fifty percent of the<br />
confirmed function minimum spend must be paid as a cancellation charge; and, within seven<br />
days of the function date one hundred percent of the confirmed function minimum spend<br />
must be paid as a cancellation charge. It is advisable that you take out wedding insurance to<br />
cover your costs of any cancellation as we also reserve the right to recover any loss of profit.<br />
Circumstances beyond our control<br />
We shall not be responsible for any loss or damage or costs from the failure to provide any<br />
facility or service as a result of force majeure or any other cause beyond our control and this<br />
includes industrial disputes, orders, permits or regulations issued by any government authority,<br />
riot, flood, fire, epidemic, alterations or redecorations.<br />
Final Number<br />
Confirmation of final numbers of guests attending and all final details are required seven days<br />
prior to function. Should your number of guests fall below your confirmed minimum, final<br />
account amounts will still be related to the minimum number given.<br />
Loss of property<br />
<strong>The</strong> <strong>Baths</strong> will not accept any responsibility for damages or loss of your or your guest’s property<br />
left on the premises prior to, during or after the function, responsibility lies solely with the client.<br />
Damages / <strong>The</strong>ft<br />
<strong>The</strong> client accepts financial responsibility for any damage to the premises or damage or theft<br />
of its fittings and equipment and breakages or theft of crockery, cutlery and glassware<br />
caused by their guests or contractors in respect of a function.<br />
Intoxification / Fines / Actions<br />
<strong>The</strong> <strong>Baths</strong> reserves the right to refuse service to an intoxicated person and may request that<br />
they leave the premises. <strong>The</strong> client must ensure that any drunk, violent or quarrelsome guest/s<br />
leave the premises. <strong>The</strong> client agrees to reimburse <strong>The</strong> <strong>Baths</strong> in respect any fines or actions<br />

Arriving by boat they all walked down “National Heritage Jetty”<br />
that leads to the sandy beach in front of <strong>The</strong> <strong>Baths</strong> <strong>Sorrento</strong>...<br />
<strong>The</strong> bridal party were singing...<br />
“Wasn’t it a lovely day to be caught in the rain”
Although the ceremony on the beach was off due to rain,<br />
knowing that their chosen venue, <strong>The</strong> <strong>Baths</strong> <strong>Sorrento</strong> offered “plan B”<br />
under cover on the Eastern Deck free of charge meant that<br />
Kara and Marcus were relaxed and excited.
Kara looked absolutely stunning in her wedding dress
<strong>The</strong>n a rainbow! and the sun came out!<br />
Which resulted in superb photo opportunities;<br />

<strong>The</strong> guests arrived at the reception where the tables<br />
were all ready, dressed in white linen with candles<br />
lit and a centre piece of small square glass vases<br />
with white peony roses & tulips,
the linen serviettes tied with place cards depicting<br />
a wooden heart, the guests name written on each.<br />
<strong>The</strong> gorgeous white and green wedding cake on its table. <strong>The</strong> scene was set for the celebration of their dream come true.<br />
<strong>The</strong> servery shelf laden with jars of green and white lollies with a<br />
“Love” basket of bags for guests to help themselves if they wished to<br />
take some home, added a fun addition to the decorations.
Magically the platters of Chef’s homemade canapés and trays of sparkling wine,<br />
sav. blanc. white wine and beer were being enjoyed by all when the bridal party arrived.<br />
<strong>The</strong> delicious restaurant style three-course meal and customer service second to none<br />
was very much appreciated by Kara and Marcus and their guests.<br />
All remarked on how special the food was and also said,<br />
“<strong>The</strong> smart looking professional staff being relaxed and flexible on the night helped the formalities and jocularities flow”.
<strong>The</strong> ceiling of the Dance floor was lit by fairy lights, the entrance had a small tree of “Votive<br />
candles” and floodlights at the front of <strong>The</strong> <strong>Baths</strong> across the beach and down the pier captured<br />
the flood lit romantic ambience of the setting by night<br />
An explosion of romance and beauty...
...especially with the Bridal Dance on the beach,<br />
with the guests watching from above.<br />
<strong>The</strong>n, guests and bridal party danced the night away...<br />
<strong>The</strong> “after party” was at the Conti Nightclub just 5 minutes away on Ocean Beach Road and the rest went home to their various accommodations booked in <strong>Sorrento</strong>.<br />
<strong>The</strong> Bride and Groom “they lived happily ever after”.<br />
