It would not be wrong to say Heknew <strong>the</strong> exact hour and moment and even <strong>the</strong> place, and stillHe went to where <strong>the</strong>y would arrest Him, and at <strong>the</strong> fixed time.And when <strong>the</strong> time He knew came, He went to wake up Hisdisciples who were asleep at Gethsemane, Saying, "Are you stillsleeping and resting? Behold, <strong>the</strong> hour is at hand, and <strong>the</strong> Son<strong>of</strong> Man is being betrayed into <strong>the</strong> hands <strong>of</strong> sinners. Rise, let usbe going. See, My betrayer is at hand " (Matt. 26:45-46).When <strong>the</strong> enemy approached, He went with His disciples tomeet him... He wanted to give Himself up for our sake..., so Hesaid,"I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takesit from Me, but I lay it down <strong>of</strong> Myself. I have power to lay itdown, and I have power to take it again ... " (John 10:17-18).25
