Avril Lavigne hasnow sold 27 million copies of her first three albums.SLY “PYPER” JORDANMARIE DIGBYYouTube phenomenom Marie’ Digbyhas garnered much attention from theinternet success of her version ofRihanna’s R&B-pop hit “Umbrella,”which was viewed by 2.5 million timesonline. Local radio station Star 98.7picked up on its popularity and beganto spin the song. Articles in the WallStreet Journal, Los Angeles Times, andRolling Stone followed. The acoustic/alternative version connected with HotAC radio and is now climbing the chart. Her album, which wasproduced by Tom Rothrock for Hollywood Records, will besimultaneously released in the U.S. and Japan on February8th. Marie’ Digby was an artist development project initiated inour Rondor studios.Sly Jordan is co-writer of one of the year’s biggest domestic and international hits – Sean Kingston’s “Beautiful Girls.” The song spenteleven weeks in the Top 10 of the Billboard charts and another four weeks atop the charts in the UK. Internationally, “Beautiful Girls” wasNo. 1 in 18 countries.Sly is a writer on the Dr. Dre produced song, “Fire” on the 50 Cent release, Curtis.
