WORKING EXPERIENCE:A) From December 20 th 2009 to DateI had Joined my work in the pediatrics department, Medical college, DiyalaUniversity,Baquba, Iraq as a lecturer pediatrician teaching the fifth and sixth yearmedical college students giving them total of 60 hours/year theoretical as well as60 hours/year clinical sessions in the college and Albatool maternity teachinghospital as well as working as specialist pediatrician in the hospital .In the college, I have been posted as an editorial manager of the newly establishedDiyala Journal of medicine for researches and other educational activities.B) May31st 2008.Joined with NICU/Pediatrics department/TAWAM Hospital, AlAin, United Arab ofEmirates.From January 5 th 2009 Joined as an assistant professor pediatrics in UnitedArab Emirate university medical college.TAWAM Hospital 468 bed total capacity JCI accredited , affiliated with JonsHopkins medicine, Al-Emirate Medical college, Tertiary teaching hospital andArab Board training center ,NICU had 30 beds/incubators capacity with allfacilities for neonatal fulterm and preterm care including all types of mechanicalventilation ,NRP program training center, resident training, medical schoolundergraduate and postgraduate training center, performing all procedurerequired for neonatal resuscitation( intubations , assisted ventilation, central lineinsertion, lumber puncture ,peripheral canulation and chest tube insertion)andteaching as well as clinical training for under graduate and post graduatestudents of the United Arab Emirate university in Al Ain city and Arab BoardTraining center in TAWAM hospital.C) _ From February 28 th 2005 to july10th 2008;NENONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (NICU), WOMAN HOSPITAL (WH) OFHAMED MEDICAL COPORATION (HMC), DOHA, QATAR.NICU/WH/HMC JCI Internationally accredited corporation, it was the main and only


tertiary neonatal intensive care unit in Qatar and it was the biggest neonatologyintensive care unit in gulf and Arab area with a total capacity of 70 neonatal casesincluding 15 ventilatory sets, 27 high intensive care beds and 34-40intermdeiatecare beds, 10 isolation infected beds, physiotherapy and rehabilitation sections,baby & jaundice clinics for follow up .I Have been completed 3 years working after postgraduate Arab Board Degree ,Managing critical term and preterm cases performing all procedures required likeintubations, canulation ,umbilical catheterization ,chest tube insertion andassisted ventilation with many different modes of ventilations such(CPAP,SIMV,SIPPV,PSV,VG,VIVE AND HFOV Dragger &Sensor medics) as well asinhaled nitric oxide administration.5 consultants, 6 senior specialists, 15 specialists and 8 residents working in thisunit.I am working as neonatology specialist with routine daily work as well as 4-5monthly on call duties .Since April 2005 working as a senior on call duties covering a junior specialistand resident (Medical officer) on call doctors.I have been included in the research and teaching activities such as lectures,case presentations, rounds and training setions in the unite as part of theteaching and training programs of Arab board council of medical specializations.Doctors working in this unit holding (MRCP,FRCP,MRCPCH, CANADIAN FELLOWSHIP,ARAB BOARD DEGREE IN PEDIATRICS, MD AND MS IN PEDIATRICS).D)- NOVEMBER 1 st 2002 TO SEPTEMBER 16 th 2004 ;I have been working in the department of pediatric in Ibri Referral hospital —which has a total bed capacity 242, and pediatric department having a generalpediatric unit with 30 beds including high dependency with 6 beds for criticalcases and emergency cases management. It also have SCBU unit with 20 bedswith 7 assisted ventilation sets.I am working 24hrs 1 st on call duties twice a week as well as routine daily work,managing general pediatric , acute chronic and emergency cases performing allprocedure required including canulation (intravenous, arterial ,intraossious and


umbilical), intubations , and assisted ventilation (CPAP,SIPPV&SIMV) .Also working in SCBU unit, managing full term and preterm patients requiresintensive care management.Consultant working in this department having a MRCP, FRCPCH, MRCPCH, MD,and PhD degree.E)- FROM NOVEMBER 25 th 1996 TO AUGEST 31 st 2002;I have been working as a senior house officer in the dept. of pediatrics, Misuratateaching hospital, Misurata, Libya.This department consist of outpatient unit, an emergency unit ( 3 rooms with 6beds and neonatology unit with 2 ventilators and appliances for fulterm andpreterm critical case management).In all these units I worked about 5 years with full 24hrs rotation duties includingout patient and inpatient cases management and critical case management as wellas neonatal term and preterm cases, performing all procedure required e.g.intravenous, intraossious , umbilical catheterization ,endotrachial intubations,lumber puncture and assisted ventilation with different types of ventilators .F)- FROM NOVEMBER 9 th 1991 TO NOVEMBER 9 th 1993;BAGHDAD HEALT INSTITUTION HOSPITALS, BAGHDAD, IRAQ.I worked as a medical officer in a Residential Rotation in Baghdad hospital for twoyears including six months pediatrics.PROCEDURES:~ Intravenous line.~ lntraosseous line.~ Lumber puncture.~ Umbilical venous and arterial catheterization.~ Chest tube insertion.~ Intubations and Assisted ventilation with many modes of ventilation (CPAP,SIPPV, SIMV, PSV, VG, VIVE & HFOV)
