About NAARMThe National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), established in1976, at Hyderabad, is one of the constituent institutes of the Indian Council ofAgricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi, for promoting management of agriculturalresearch, education and extension.As a part of educational initiatives of the Academy, three post graduate programmes werestarted namely, PGDMA - two year Post graduate Diploma in Management (Agriculture);PGDIPTMA – one year Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property and TechnologyManagement in Agriculture (PGDIPTMA) and PGDITMA – one year Post GraduateDiploma Information Technology Management in Agriculture. The second batch of thePost Graduate Diploma in Management (Agriculture) 2010-12 will be starting from July,2010. The PGDMA Course is approved by AICTE. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Agriculture) - PGDMAELIGIBILITY: The minimum qualification for admission into the programmes is aFOUR YEAR bachelor’s degree in any of the following subjects from any AgriculturalUniversity or Institution recognized by the ICAR/UGC:1. Veterinary ScienceThe students who are going to complete their degree by July, 2010 are also eligibleto apply.<strong>Admission</strong> ProcessApplicants have to appear for written entrance examination, “NAARMAT 2010” on 07March, 2010 at different centres. The admission fee for NAARMAT 2010 is Rs. 1000(Rs. 500 for SC/ST/PH) and can be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of“ICAR UNIT-NAARM” payable at Hyderabad. The application to NAARMAT 2010 canbe submitted on-line at http://<strong>special</strong><strong>test</strong>.in/naarmat2010 from 01 January, 2010 to 31January, 2010. After submitting the application on-line, hard-copy of the applicationalong with photographs and demand draft should be sent to NAARMAT 2010, Post BoxNumber 4334, Kalkaji Head Post Office, New Delhi 110 019, la<strong>test</strong> by 05 February,2010. Candidates will be shortlisted for Group discussion/Personal Interview (GD/PI) tobe held at NAARM, Hyderabad during Mid April, 2010 based on NAARMAT score. Thefinal list of candidates for admission into PGDMA program will be posted atwww.naarm.ernet.in and http://<strong>special</strong><strong>test</strong>.in/naarmat2010. The academic session willstart in July, 2010.ReservationThe reservation of seats will be available for OBC, SC, ST and Physically Handicappedcategory as per Govt. of India rules.


NAARMAT 2010NAARMAT 2010 <strong>test</strong> will be used to shortlist the candidates for Group Discussion andPersonal Interview. The <strong>test</strong> will be conducted in the following centres on 07 March,2010 from 1000 hrs to 1230 hrs at the following centres:• Ahmedabad• Bangaluru• Bhubaneswar• Chandigarh• Coimbatore• Dharwad• Guwahati• Hyderabad• Jabalpur• Kanpur• Kochi• Kolkata• Nagpur• New Delhi• Pantnagar• Pune• Ranchi.• UdaipurHowever, the candidates are asked to choose 2 alternatives in case, as NAARMAT2010 may not be held in some of the centres.
