The children had been well briefed for the trip byattending extra preparation classes which covered manyessential topics ranging from being away from home to surfawareness. It was wonderful to see thestudents interacting withAustralian school children inEnglish. It really made Englishpart of their lives and furtherenhanced their skills in thisimmersion environment. Theywere also able to take part inactivities that they would seldomget the chance to do at home. These included night beachwalks, body boarding, surfing, beach games, canoeing, sand castle competitions, problem solving and much more.In addition to the variety of activities offered, the childrenwere also able to enjoy the pristine environment and firstclass instruction. The children’s excellent behaviour was a feature of the trip. The coach driver who picked the students up from the airportwas most impressed. At the airport, he even asked otherpassengers exiting if they had seen a school group in thebaggage claim come through! The other passengers sharedwith him that it was a joy to share the plane with the children, even though this might not be their initial thought when theysaw 80 children checking in on the same plane as them!O !"#$%&'()*+UM !"#$%&' !"#$%&' q~ääÉÄìÇÖÉê~ !"#$%& !"#$% &'()*+,-./0123456 !"#$%&'()*+,-./0123456 !"#$%&'()*+,-./ !"#$%&'()*+,-(. !"#$%&'()*+,-./ !"#$%&'()*+,,-. !"#$%&'()* +,-. !"#$%&'()*+,-./ !" #$%& '() *#+ !"#$%&'()*+,-./ !"# !"# !"# !"# !"# !"# !"# !"# !"# !"#$%&'()*+,-./012345#$ !"#$%&'()*+,-./0 !"#$UM !!""#$%&'()*+,-./012 !"3
