The Rulesgeneral auctionAll sales are final and there will be no exchanges or refunds onitems except where specified.To remove items the evening of the auction, you must show avalidated receipt at the door at the time of departure.Value of items auctioned are donor-stated and are not warrantedby Mount Mercy for tax purposes or for general value.The IRS advises that donations are tax-deductible only for theamount of the bid in excess of fair market value.Unless otherwise specified, all auction items and services mustbe used within one (1) year, on or before April 13, 2014.All auction items not taken home the night of the McAuleyGala must be picked up at the Development Office on Monday,April 15, 2013 between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.The school will not be open on Sunday, April 14, 2013.All auction items have been assembled for display and may notbe repackaged in original packaging.Payment by the successful bidder may be made immediatelyfollowing the auction in the form of cash, check, Visa orMasterCard. Payment in full is required on Saturday, April 13,2013.live auctionThe live auction will begin during dinner and will continuewithout interruption until all items have been auctioned.Doors will open at 5:00 pm in order to give guests theopportunity to view the items prior to the bidding.Persons wishing to bid should display his/her bid numberwhen the auctioneer requests bids.Certain items will require a minimum starting bid.
