The scope and definition of international politics; basic concepts like nationalinterest, power, influence, diplomacy; the historical evolution of the structure and processes ofthe international system; the constitution and instruments of foreign policy; internationalprocesses like war, conflict and cooperation among the states and non-state actors; types ofinternational systems, and the basic characteristics of the contemporaray international orderare among the subjects of the course.
