Research projects according to funding category.Figure 3.5 shows that more than half of the projects have a budget of 100,000-500,000 EUR.Projects with budgets of less than 100,000 EUR account for approximately one third of thetotal, while only four percent of the projects are budgeting with more than 500,000 EUR.Furthermore four percent of the projects did not have an indication of their budget size.In addition to the information on project budgets, respondents were asked to indicate whichorganisation(s) were funding their research (see Fig. 3.6.).11
