Number of projects over 100,000 EUR funded per type of funding organisation.To be able to relate project budget size to type of funding organisation, results were alsocompiled for projects with budgets of over 100,000 EUR (see Fig. 3.7.). This Figure reflectsthe overall funding analysis, i.e. larger-scale projects are not differing in terms of fundinginstitution set up from smaller-size projects.12
Project disseminationFinally, in order to gain insight in the dissemination of research findings, the respondentswere asked to list up to five main publications per project, in case the project already hadpublished results. Grouping of projects according to type of publications.As shown in Figure 3.8 about half of the listed projects (47 percent) did not have or did notlist any published results (so far). The second half was distributed almost evenly betweenprojects with national publications only (18%); international publications only (19%) andprojects with both types of publications (16%). The major part of the projects not offeringpublishing information have either started recently (2008 or 2009) or were of relatively shortduration (< 2 years). Additionally it has to be noted that respondents were specifically askedto prioritise peer-reviewed and international publications in their response.13
