biosafety and field
trial requirements
of transgenic crops.
To widen awareness
and understanding
of biotechnology,
BdBIC organizes
writing competitions
on biotech crops in
collaboration with BAU.
Participants include students, government officials, academics, and scientists.
BdBIC takes an active role in drafting documents on policies and guidelines
in cooperation with organizations and government institutions such as MoEF,
MOST, and MOA. A significant involvement was to provide information for the
national biosafety implementation framework and guidelines for the country.
