On February 12, 2011, whileon his way to work as a Ticket Seller at Avery Fisher Hall at LincolnCenter, Joe’s life was threatened by a knife-wielding assailant, whohad allegedly killed four people in the preceding 28 hours. Thoughwounded in the attack, Joe was able to subdue the suspect until policemade the arrest.
