Model 265Very Low Differential Pressure TransducerRanges: 0.25 to 100 in. W.C./±0.1 to ±50 in. W.C.Air or Non-Conducting GasAlso Offered with24 VAC Excitationw/0-5 or 0-10 VDC OutputConduit enslosure is available as an option.Setra Systems 265 pressure transducers sensedifferential or gauge (static) pres- sures andconvert this pressure difference to a proportionalelectrical output. The 265 is offered witha high level 0-5 VDC output or a 4-20 mA output. It is also offered with 0-5 or 0-10 VDC output in the24 VAC excitation version.Used in Building Energy Management Systems, these transducers are capable of measuringpressures and flows with the accuracy necessaryfor proper building pressurization and air flowcontrol. The 265 Series very low pressure transducers areavailable for air pressure ranges as low as 0.25 in. WCfull scale up to 100 in. WC full scale. Static accuracy is±1% full scale in normal ambient temperature environments. The units are temperature compensatedto less than ±0.033% FS/ o F of thermal error over thetemperature range of 0 o F to +150 o F.The Model 265utilizes an improved all stainlesssteel micro-tig welded sensor. The tensioned stainless steel diaphragm and insulatedstainless steel electrode, positioned close tothe diaphragm, form a variable capacitor. Positivepressure moves the diaphragm toward the electrode, increasing the capacitance.A decrease in pressure moves the diaphragm awayfrom the electrode, decreasing the capacitance. The change in capacitance is detected and convertedto a linear DC electrical signal by Setra’sunique electronic circuit. The micro-tig welded tension sensor allowsup to 10 PSI overpressure (range dependent)with no damage to the unit. In addition, thesensor parts have thermally matched coefficients, which promote improved temperatureperformance and excellent long-term stability.Pressure RangesUnidirectional BidirectionalPressurePressure0 to 0.25 in.
