Each immersion suit and its packaging shall be marked with the height/weight range of persons for whomit is approved• Model FP CWISO3/S- ADULT SMALL, for weight under 65 kg & maximum height of 175 cm;• Model FP CWISO3/M-ADULT MEDIUM, for weight 65-80 kg & maximum height 180 cm;• Model FP CWISO3/L- ADULT LARGE, for weight 80-95 kg & maximum height 190 cm;• Model FP CWISO3/XL- ADULT EXTRA LARGE, for weight over 95 kg & maximum height 200 cm.2. Each immersion suit and its packaging shall be permanently and clearly marked at least with: identification ofthe manufadurer and the model designation, simple donning instructions, approval information and text “Tobe worn in conjunction with a compatible lifejacket”3. Each immersion suit shall be supplied with an explanatory leaflet containing instructions for care andmaintenance of the immersion suit. When required, an approved light and whistle meeting the requirements of ISA Code regulations 11/2.2.3 and11/2.2.114, respectively, are to be fitted. The light or lights selected to be attached to the immersion suit shall betested to the requirements of IMO Resolution MSC.81i70), 1/10.3.3 to confirm the adequacy of their means ofattachment.5. The on board arrangements and installation of this product are not part of this design appraisal or certificate.All such arrangements are to be to the satisfaction of the Surveyors attending on board.6. If the specified standards are amended during the validity of this certificate, the product is to be re-approvedprior to it being supplied to vessels to which the amended standards apply.7. Production items are to be manufactured in accordance with either an approved Production Quality Assurancesystem (Module D) or Product Quality Assurance (Module E) or Product Verification (Module F) of the MarineEquipment Directive.8. Production tests are to be conducted in accordance with the applicable requirements of IMO ResolutionMSC.81c70), Fart 2 and be recorded by the manufacturer in accordance with either the approved ProductionQuality Assurance system (Module D) or Product Quality Assurance (Module F) or witnessed by the NotifiedBody as required by the Product Verification (Module F) of the Marine Equipment Directive. This does notpreclude any further testing to additional requirements of the Marine Administration of the country where theship is registered (i.e. the flag state) or those acting on behalf of that Administration.9. Each item, batch or lot of the equipment is to have the “Mark of Conformity” affixed and be issued with a“Declaration of Conformity”.10. Should a change of Place of Production from that stated below be required, i.e. where stages ofmanufacture/assembly/testing of this product take place, the new Place of Production is to be advised to usprior to the change taking place.
