BoosterCloud can also be added to a spod mixfor spodding over Zigs, this creates acloud around the Zig which fish justhome in on.Recently, while targeting a heavilypressured day-ticket venue thatcontains lots of large carp, I realisedjust how effective these hookbaits are.At the start of my campaign, I quicklyrealised that all the anglers around mewere fishing over large beds of bait.Rather than spodding out loads of baitand spooking all the fish, I decidedto use single hi-viz hookbaits. For themajority of the campaign, I used theSonubaits dumbells because they wereslightly different from the normal roundboilies that everybody else was using.Because the hookbaits are so brightand full of flavour, it wasn’t essentialto introduce any freebies. I used towander around the lake, find wherethe fish were holding and flick singlehookbaits onto them. I tried the wholerange of hookbaits on the lake but itwas the Hot Chocolate that producedmost of the bites. During my time onthe lake, I managed to catch countlesscarp including loads of twenties and acouple of thirties.There isn’t a carp in the countrythat won’t go for these hookbaits,so whether you’re bag fishing, usingthem over particles or casting singlehookbaits onto showing fish, they’rebright enough and attractive enough towork in every scenario you can think of.6INGENIOUS, IRRESISTIBLE
