Sam Houston Equestrian Center was agreat success. The facility was great with covered warmup and nice stalls for those whoelected to rent a stall for the day. Ashley Hammill was a wonderful judge and was sopatient despite the fact the show secretary (me) copied the wrong eventingtests...ooops. Leigh Olejer did a great job managing the show. We had greatvolunteers, PJ Hardin, Charlie Sokolov, Linda Pryor, Heather Holzman, JessicaHolzman, Carol Chiles Fuller, Leigh Olejer, Jackie Gates, KC Blaemire. We couldn'thave done it without them.Ft. Sam's management, Cindy Tripoli and Connie Blocker, were wonderful hosts.Connie's students had an opportunity to ride in their first show. These students arechildren of military families and we were glad to see them having such a great time.Later this month is our Fall recognized dressage show (already - can you believe that!).
