LDSERIESELASTOMERICMOUNTSAPPLICATIONS7 - 40 LBLOAD RANGELARGE DEFLECTION MOUNTSLD Series are mid-frequency isolators with a largedeflection capability that provides both shock andvibration protection for a variety of stationary applications.These mounts can attenuate a 15g, 11-millisecondshock to 10g; and a 30g, 11-millisecond shock to16g. The LD Series mounts are ideal for use in applicationswhere vibration and shock are a concern – electronicequipment, camera systems and computers.Two different elastomeric element types are available inthe LD Series. The standard elastomer that offersoperating temperatures of -20 o F to +180 o F provideseffective isolation in most applications. The optionalpolybutadiene version is used for situations when operatingtemperatures may drop as low as -65 o F. Bothversions are excellent when high amplitude vibrationinputs are expected or large shock deflections areneeded. Both versions also resist oils, ozone andmost solvents – providing optimum resilience indifficult conditions.No special tools are required for installation. The centralcores are tapped to accept common screws. Notethat these mounts are not inherently failsafe.
