PeopleBowling <strong>to</strong>urnamentdraws 150 保 龄 球 赛Some 150 bowlers and guests turned up for theannual <strong>Moulmein</strong>-<strong>Kallang</strong> GRC and WhampoaSMC Bowling T<strong>our</strong>nament held at Planet Bowl@Civil Service Club on January 20.Spearheaded this year by <strong>Moulmein</strong> division, theevent is aimed at bringing residents of all agesand mixed abilities <strong>to</strong> participate in recreationaland fun activities. Even the rain could notdampen the kampong spirit at Telematch 2013held at Hong Wen School on March 2.The five divisions in <strong>Moulmein</strong>-<strong>Kallang</strong> GRC andWhampoa SMC pitted <strong>our</strong> skills against oneanother in games such as goli-panjang and thethree-legged race.Kolam Ayer division emerged the winners buteveryone involved had a wonderful time.“I thoroughly enjoyed myself at the event andwish that I can take part in the telematch nextyear,” said 15-year-old Madhu Bharathi Elango.Besides the telematch, participants also had theopportunity <strong>to</strong> delight in nostalgic food such asding ding candy, kacang puteh and ice ball.Stamford Primary School, Bendemeer PrimarySchool, Raffles Institution, and National JuniorCollege set up stalls <strong>to</strong> raise fund for charities.TouchPoint 07
