• Refunds for classes dropped by refund

• Accepts and process payments for:
• Fines for library, chemistry, and biology
• Financial aid repayments
• Credit by exam fee (form available in
the Evaluations Office)
• Parking permits
• Duplicate diplomas
• Collect childcare fees and NSF checks
• Sell semester and monthly bus passes
• Provide copies of duplicate receipts and
1098T.
• Credit card problems related to
registration and miscellaneous fees
• Verification of fees paid
• Accept and process administrative
deferments after approval from Financial
Aid or Student Affairs
• Third-party transactions
• Military tuition assistance
• Disabled Veterans, State Department
of Rehabilitation

The Assessment/Testing Office schedules
and administers placement tests for
students.
• English and Math assessment tests for
new and continuing students and nonnative
speakers
• Orientation for all students
Matriculation requires that all new
students be tested in basic skills if they
are planning to pursue any of the following
educational goals:
• Transfer to a four-year institution
• Earn a degree or certificate
• Enroll in a basic english class, and/
or other courses with english or math
prerequisites
• Are undecided about their educational
goal
Students are exempt from the English and
math placement tests if the have earned
an Associate in Arts Degree or higher or
have completed English and math courses,
or have received a qualifying score on the
College Board Advanced Placement English
Exam, SAT, ACT, EPT, ELM, or EAP
within the last two ears. Please contact
the Testing Office if you feel you may have
satisfied the testing requirements.
The testing session will help determine
which English and math classes you are
prepared to take. Prepare by reviewing
sample test questions availabel at http://

or visit the Testing Office.
