Smart GridsBy using the latest communication and grid element technologies, <strong>smart</strong> <strong>grids</strong> are capableof coordinating the needs and skills of all generators, grid operators, end users and, in short, allthe stakeholders involved in the power generation and consumption process.In order to evolve towards a <strong>smart</strong> grid, it is critical to implement technological advances,both in physical grid elements as well as in communication and systems technologies.
