Page 41. Monthly <strong>Mineral</strong> Meeting, 04.06.2011The next <strong>Mineral</strong> Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, 04.06.2011 at 12.00 at the clubhouse. We willdiscuss the mineral Calcite. This is a fairly common mineral, but has over 3 000 shapes <strong>and</strong> lots ofcoulour variety. Please show us your unusual <strong>and</strong> priced specimens at this meeting. 2. The Fourways Mall – <strong>Gem</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Mineral</strong> Show, still ongoing until 05.06.2011This <strong>Gem</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Mineral</strong> Show has been relocated from previously the Cresta Shopping Centre inR<strong>and</strong>burg to the new venue of the Fourways Mall in Fourways, Midr<strong>and</strong>. African <strong>Gem</strong>s <strong>and</strong><strong>Mineral</strong>s (Rob Smith) <strong>and</strong> various other dealers offer their goods (minerals, gemstones, jewellery,arte facts etc., etc. for sale <strong>and</strong> it promised to be bigger <strong>and</strong> better than ever. 3. Lapidary, Silversmithing, Facetting Courses – June 2011Please remember to pre-book your places for the above courses as dem<strong>and</strong> is quite high <strong>and</strong> only acertain amount of people can be accommodated at a time.
