Properly support the vehicle with jack stands on each side.Never work under a vehicle supported only by a jack.Before you undertake this installation, it is important that you read theinstructions; and that you also have the necessary tools and skills required tocomplete the job. Start by mocking up dead pedal and before drilling holes; mark them witha marker so not to waste drilling a hole twice.2.) If dead pedal is where it seems to be where you want it and the holes aremarked, take the drill and the 1/8’’ drill bit and drill out the dead pedal forthe screws.
