II(ArmyCooperation) Squadron hasbeen honoured in many waysin its one hundred years ofservice to Great Britain, but ithas never been honoured in thisway. Swaffham’s Citizenshipis a remarkable privilege.Swaffham and the other townsand villages that surroundRAF Marham have alwaysbeen particularly supportive ofthe Squadron’s personnel, asrecently seen throughout theSquadron’s near five-monthdeployment on OperationELLAMY last year in the skiesover Libya. The award ofCitizenship is a very prominentstatement of that support– I and the whole Squadronare grateful and honoured forthe kindness that the peopleof Swaffham have shown us.RAF Marham’sPolice Dog SectionAs January came to a close Dogs Trust Snettertonwas lucky enough to be visited by six volunteersfrom RAF Marham’s Police Dog Section. The six strong teamdonated a day of theirtime to help at therehoming centre andtook on the task of walking someof the stronger dogs, whichcame back looking extremelyhappy and promptly spent therest of the day sleeping it off!The guys were also very helpfulin lending their strength tomoving some of the heavy sacksof food.
