Often paints that dress the buildings have not been properly selected to suit the different climaticconditions that prevail in each region. Paints can be attacked by physical, chemical and biologicalagents. And basically there are two types of paint-organic or inorganic. Each has its own characteristicsand performance. When to use what and why? Questions are being constantly asked. Suchenvironmental awareness has prompted much eagerness to know more about such issues and toappreciate the advantages and disadvantages that can be derived from the use of different paints. InMapei, Mr. Kuijpers is responsible for the development and growth of Mapei’s Coating Line businessworldwide. He shares his expertise with players of the coating industry by conducting seminars on wallcoating systems, product and application demonstration and trainings. Widely travelled and exposed,countries he has travelled for his mission include Europe, Middle East, Asia, and USA.
