33As for the Transforming quality of Kalp, my family can testify that our lives keeptransforming and transforming as I read Kalp. However, the wonderful thing is that allthe transformations are positive. There is some discomfort as we go through the changesand adjust to new situations, but the overall effect is to transform life more and more inthe direction of all progress, evolution, and bliss.My experiences reading Vedic Literature have been a powerful impetus to evolution. If Ihad to compare them with initially learning TM or the TM-Sidhi program, I would havedifficulty deciding which had the greater influence in my life. The TM and TM-Sidhiprogram prepared a fertile ground for the addition of reading Vedic Literature. As theRicho Akshare verse of Rk Veda says, "He whose awareness is not open to this field,what can the verses accomplish for him?"Richo Akshare parame vyomanyasmin Deva adhi vishve nisheduhyastanna veda kim richa karishyatiya ittadvidus ta ime samasateThe verses of the Veda exist in the collapse of fullness (the kshara of ‘A’) in thetranscendental field, the Self,In which reside all the devas, the impulses of creative intelligence, the laws ofnature responsible for the whole manifest universe.He whose awareness is not open to this field, what can the verses accomplish forhim?Those who know this level of reality are established in evenness, wholeness oflife. (Rk Veda 1.164.39)Without the TM and TM-Sidhi programs, reading the Vedic Literature would have littlevalue. Yet, with them, reading Vedic Literature has been transforming, stabilizing,enlivening, balancing, and all the other forty qualities of intelligence.
