Course 200 Series: Communication/Negotiations209 Negotiating Effectively with a Diverse Clientele: This intermediate, two-day course explores thedynamics of intercultural communication and provides insight which enables participants to successfullynegotiate with people of different cultures and backgrounds through a greater understanding of, andrespect for diverse clientele.213 Conflict Management: This beginning-level, one-day course explores specificstrategies for those who are in need of far-reaching collaborative solutions to minimizepotential negative aspects of conflict.215 Right of Way Agent's Development Program: This two-day, intermediate course emphasizesareas of pipeline acquisitions and sets the stage for the entire project planning and feasibility studies andis useful for any linear right of way acquisition projects, including electric transmission lines.219 Introduction to Presentation, Instruction, and Facilitation: This intermediate course provides theparticipants with an introduction to the three methods used to transfer knowledge: presenting, facilitatingand instructing. During this two-day, interactive course, the participants will actively engage in discussionabout the commonalities and differences of each method and will demonstrate one of these methods.

Course 500 Series: Relocation Assistance501 Residential Relocation Assistance: Based upon the requirements established by theUniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 andsubsequent revisions, this intermediate, two-day course provides a comprehensive overview ofthe processes and procedures involved in providing relocation assistance to residentialoccupants.502 Business Relocation: This intermediate, two-day course explores how to apply provisionsof the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, inconjunction with the Surface Transportation and Relocation Assistance Act of 1987, andsubsequent revisions, to the relocation of non-residential entities.503 Mobile Home Relocation: This intermediate, one-day course emphasizes the criticalelements involved in relocating mobile homes and important considerations when categorizingmobile homes as real and/or personal property.504 Computing Replacement Housing Payments: Designed for participants with a thoroughknowledge of, and experience in, implementing the Uniform Act, this intermediate, two-daycourse focuses on the calculation of rental assistance payments, price differential payments,mortgage interest differential payments and incidental expenses payments in complicatedsituations.8
